As an overcomer, her mission is to see people accept and receive healing in every aspect of their lives so they can experience life and have it more abundantly as in John 10:10 to live a purpose-filled life.
When Patrice isn't spending time with family and friends, taking classes, or traveling, she's serving in a women's ministry for women who experienced sexual harm through First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro, Maryland where she's a member.

Maria has resigned from her long-time position and is now employed with New Brunswick public school system. Maria is a member of Porter Memorial Church of God in Christ and has been for all of her life. She loves to praise and worship. You will find Maria during a season after service doing what she loves very much and that is watching football. Maria has begun writing her first book- titled “Only One Way to Survive” Maria Comes to us to uplift and to inspire all who she comes in contact with.

I was homeless my senior year of high school, got involved with an abusive man, survived sexual assaults to go on to be the first in my family to graduate college. I was able to break the cycle that generational curses place on you when you feel you have lost your way; your purpose. God had and has a plan for my life and I am blessed to be able to share my gifts and talents with not just my community, but the world. I want my legacy to be that I lived so others may live also. I see the world for not what has been done, but for what can be done for the betterment of others.
