Who really knows how to take me time? honestly that is something I had to learn, nope had to force myself to do. Mainly because I like to stay busy and moving, but as you start to see changes in your body you have to learn to treat your body differently. Putting this process into play took me a while to get acquainted with. During the summer months now I have placed into my schedule a day for me a day of either walking in the mall out and about just walking and looking I find that to be very relaxing and comforting to me I also enjoy soft music and singing along to the music, this takes me back in time and puts a smile on my face remembering what I was doing at that point in time. I try and spoil myself on those hot days and just stretch out by the pool and forget everything around me, the one main thing I have to get myself to do is turn my telephone off for a few hours.
Me time is a concept of self love loving oneself and putting your health above everything else. I challenge everyone to a physical and once you get the medical ok to start a workout routine. Lets do this thing called me time together. Change up the eating habits instead of picking up something sweet replace that urge with some fruit or vegetables.
Instead of sitting and watching television every evening jog in place, do some simple jumping jacks just keep the blood flowing. Watch how far these simple moves will get you.
My happy place has become the gym when I have the time, not only is it relaxing but it's also good for me. Me time is learning to do things that benefit your overall health and peace of mind and make you happy. Me time does not always mean spending. Meditate gravitate levitate most of all make yourself happy.
